Annual juried show is open only to students and members of the ASA.
Open studio are free, and open to members and the public.
Children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult.
Some scholarships are available.
All classes are held in the studio classroom behind the gallery at

Drop-ins welcome $15 non-member, $10 member, per class per day.
Drop-ins are often welcome - contact the instructor to be sure.

Bring paper, paints, brushes and canvas. Participants will find room to spread out and a
supportive group of fellow painters; there is no charge but donations welcome.

POLYMER CLAY TECHNIQUES

Monday 1:00-4:00pm, September 23 – November 11
Students should bring polymer clay in colors of their choice (but at least one package of
red, yellow and blue) PLUS two packages of black and white . The clay may be Fimo,
Sculpey III, Premo, Kato, etc. brands) Other items students should bring are a flexible
kitchen chopping mat (try the Dollar Store), an old sharp knife (that will no longer be
suitable for food use), an exacto knife or polymer clay cutting blades.” Jeanne will provide
pasta machines, ovens, tiles for baking, deli sheets, templates, cutters, stamps, some
embellishments, pearl powder, handouts and example books. There is a $5 charge for

EXPERIMENTING WITH WATERCOLOR ON DIFFERENT SURFACES

Tuesday 1:00-4:00pm September 24 – November 12
The instructor will supply spider webs, cheesecloth, Robert Doak watercolors(for the yupo
paper), pouring medium, frog tape, Dorland's wax, and rubber gloves. Students should bring
straight pins with big heads, paper towels, watercolors, brushes and small spray bottles.
ASA has yupo paper available for sale and the Pam has masa paper for $1.00 per sheet

Supplies will be provided at no extra cost for the first few classes and students will be able

Participants should be knowledgeable in the mosaic process and provide their own supplies
and tools; there is no charge but donations welcome.
