Winter term is in full swing. Jan's students in the mosaic class are experimenting with fun projects. You should seek Jean's fish! It's amazing what her students create. In Krista's drawing class we have been experimenting with all sorts of fun tools and media. Chinese Brush, pen and ink, smudgie charcoal, still lifes, draperies and crazy crabs; we marvel at and experiment with each technique. Krista is a great teacher. When the students say, " I can't believe I did this." you know that you have opened new artistic horizons. I understand that Jeanne's polymer clay is so much fun that you can hear the students laughing and giggling from miles away. The intricate designs - shapes within shapes, color within color, are fantastic to see. You don't need to be worried about being bored in Arlons' class. He has been challenging his painting students with subjects like, fog! If you need time to work on your painting or mosaic project, drop by on Sunday between 1 and 3:45 for some open studio. We have a lot of fun, share ideas and paint a little too. |
